365 project...week 3!!!

Such a fun week!!! Sun finally came out, veggies growing in the garden and books on order!!! Take a peak!!!

365 Project...week 2

It has been ONE CRAZY WEEK and I am only a day late in my 365 project post!!! I ended up working more that I should have this week at the design firm and was extremely exhausted most of the week; I am just not used to that pace the way I used to be! But I am happy to say that I was able to take a photo of each day this week except for Thursday :(...a little bummed that I did not get one for each day,  but so glad that I was able to document what I could. For the coming weeks photos I hope to work on my composition and lighting in my photos...make them artsier...we will see what happens!!!

365 Project...

So I did it! I feel accomplished that I actually was able to find a photo that I loved and described a part of each day from January 1st - January 6th. Can't wait to do it again this week! 

 New tile for the kitchen...getting so excited!!! Goodbye 70's!!!

New Treats coming soon...

A very good friend of mine has asked me make some hair accessories for her daughter's second birthday...SO EXCITED!!! I have seen so many tutorials in the past few months for fabric rolled flowers and have honestly been a little nervous to try to make them, but with hair accessories needing to be made for a good friend, I went to the craft store to get some fabric and give it a try. Can you say ADDICTING!!! I have been working on some designs that I hope to share very soon, but here is a sneak peak of one of the pieces I have completed. More to come!!! 

I'm doing it!!!

I received an email from a fellow crafter today who encouraged me to do the 365 project based on my post a few nights ago... and I have to admit...a little bit of encouragment goes a long way!!! So here we go!!! I plan to share with you my "Week in Review" every Friday in 2011...a sneak of each day of the week and a glimpse into me and the craziness that is my life!  

I took this photo on New Years Eve 2010 (note the party hat). It is a photo taken of my goals for 2011. They are things that I want to remember every day and achieve throughout the year. I have it on the fire place mantel right now, but know that I will change it with the seasons...as long as it is in a spot that I can see everyday and glimpse at.
